Course Description – Slab Hold Program
This course explains how slab holds are managed at Nova Tile & Stone, including time limits, payment requirements, and the rules for extending or transferring a hold. Participants will learn the differences between retail and trade customer hold periods, what happens when a hold expires, and how to communicate expectations clearly.
The training covers how to secure a hold in the system, when payment is required, and the conditions for transferring funds from one material to another before delivery. It also outlines restock fees, restrictions on returns, and the process for releasing holds when communication or payment is missing.
By the end of this course, employees will understand how to control inventory availability, protect margin, and give customers accurate information so projects stay on track.
