Course Description – Confirming and Managing Sales Orders in Odoo

This course teaches employees how to convert approved quotations into sales orders and manage changes the right way. Participants will learn how to verify customer approval, check account status, and ensure products, pricing, and fiscal positions are accurate before confirming. The training emphasizes when payment is required, especially for Pre-Pay accounts, and why exceptions must go through management.

The course walks through confirming an order, unlocking for edits when permissions allow, and using best practices for product changes. Staff will learn that deleted products are handled by setting quantities to zero and that any additional products require a separate add-on order, clearly referenced to the original for tracking.

By the end of this course, employees will understand how to protect billing accuracy, keep communication aligned across accounting, logistics, and warehouse teams, and maintain clean, organized order history.
