Course Description – Adding a New Product to Odoo (Product Creation)
This course trains employees on how to gather the correct information and route it to the right team member for creating new products in Odoo. Participants will learn what product details are required — including vendor, material type, size, finish, cost, part number, and selling units — and how to collect this information before submitting it.
The course explains who is authorized to enter products and when variants require a specific contact. Staff will learn how to follow the escalation order of trained personnel across all locations to avoid delays. The training also walks through the steps for creating a standard product in Odoo, including selecting the correct product type, unit of measure, pricing, tax settings, and categories.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to supply complete information, communicate with the right person, and support accurate setup, pricing, and inventory tracking.
