Course Description – Creating a New Quote in Odoo

This course teaches staff how to create accurate, organized customer quotes within Odoo. Participants will learn how to verify the customer record before starting, select the correct parent contact, and enter all required project or job details. The training walks through navigating from the customer’s contact page to the Sales view, opening a new quote, and building it with products, sections, and notes.

Employees will practice reviewing quantities, pricing, fiscal position, and customer information before saving and finalizing. The course reinforces best practices such as consistent naming in the PO/Job Description field, grouping products for clarity, and saving work frequently.

The end result is cleaner quotes, less rework, and a smoother handoff to billing, ordering, and fulfillment.
