The Gordes slab is available in a 12 mm (½") thickness, which is suitable for countertops, indoor wall coverings, light-duty indoor flooring, interior furnishings, outdoor furnishings, and ventilated facades. For heavy-duty flooring or outdoor wall coverings, a 20 mm thickness option from other Infinity Surfaces porcelain slabs may be more appropriate.

Gordes slabs require very little maintenance. The non-porous surface does not need sealing, waxing, or specialty cleaning products. For daily care, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid abrasive pads for the matte finish, and promptly clean any spills to keep the surface looking its best over the long term.

Yes. Porcelain slabs are engineered to withstand high temperatures, so placing a hot pot or pan briefly on the surface will not cause burns, cracks, or discoloration. That said, using trivets or heat pads is still recommended as a best practice, especially for prolonged direct contact, to preserve the matte finish over time.

Yes. Nova Tile and Stone delivers slabs to any of the 48 states in the contiguous U.S. Porcelain slabs require special packing and delivery on a large truck. We safely strap each slab to an A-frame, load them onto one of our trucks, and deliver directly to your fabricator's address. Please make sure your fabricator has a forklift and slab boom or clamp on site to unload the slabs upon arrival.

Can I pick up slabs from one of your stores instead of having them delivered?

Absolutely. Nova Tile and Stone offers store pickup at all four locations in Minden, Reno, Fernley, and Sacramento. We do require that you arrive with a truck and A-frame that are properly rated to handle porcelain slabs. Our team will assist with loading the slabs onto your truck, and you can take it from there.
