Slate
We have a whole room dedicated to slate in our showroom. It's a very beautiful and a versatile stone that can be used anywhere from bathrooms to an outside patio! Below you'll find pictures and names of different types of slate we stock. But please remember, as with any natural stone the coloration and pattern of the slate may vary greatly within one color. Mother Nature never makes two things exactly the same!

St. Patricks Cathedral in New York's roof was made from roofing slate from Monson, as well as the Headstone of John F. Kennedy.
The Basics of Slate
Slate can be used as flooring outside and inside, around the fireplace, in showers, and even as roofing!
As with any natural stone, slate has to be sealed before you can use that area.
